Haviland & Parlon
In 1838 David Haviland opened a large china and earthenware import business in New York. Impassioned by the endless possibilities of porcelain, he moved to Limoges in 1842 and opened his own plant - The first time an American had ever built a factory in Europe! That factory continues to operate till this day and Haviland is one of but a few companies still operating in its own factory.
Since 1842 Haviland has created the most beautiful limoges China in the world.
